Yaskawa Motoman (Dayton, Oh.) has prolonged the PL-series of robots, including the PL800 with an 800-kg payload. The PL800 has a horizontal attain of 3159 mm (124 in) and a vertical attain of 3024 mm (119 in). The robotic’s parallel-link construction gives rigidity and stabilization for heavy hundreds, and the T-axis contains a 100-mm (4-in) pass-through for connections to the end-of-arm instrument.
A single cable connects the manipulator to the controller, and contours for air and different cables are routed internally from the bottom to the end-of-arm instrument. A cable set up tube eases fieldbus routing to the higher arm and/or gripper.
Providing an IP54-rated wrist and physique as customary, the PL800 might be floor-mounted. The robotic is managed by Yaskawa’s YRC1000 controller that includes a compact cupboard measuring 23.5 by 19 by 17 in. A light-weight train pendant options intuitive programming. The PL800 can also be out there with Yaskawa’s PalletSolver software program for offline creation of palletizing patterns.
Yaskawa’s new PL800 Palletizing robotic is the most recent addition to its PL collection of robots.
